Sweet deceased, far too young.
A life, a story, a death unsung.
You entered this world, and by sheer ruthless fate,
Were placed with those whose cruelty neer did abate.
You were abused and neglected,
Viciously treated, love rejected.
Bloodied, broken, tattered, and torn,
Your sad story told only by many scars worn.
One shattering moment; one precious life lost.
Without any dignity, your body was tossed.
Left there alone, forever to be forgotten,
Like a piece of trash, unwanted and rotten.
There you laid, your final fate sealed.
Swallowed by darkness; no choice but to yield.
No worth and no love. No kind words goodbye
HOPELESS LONGING
by Renegadeheart
Boundless as the ocean is deep.
Ceaseless as the tick of Father Time.
A black void, never ending.
Longing
For attention,
For appreciation,
For happiness,
For love;
All never to be obtained.
Hope is hopeless.
The Prince never comes.
The tide never turns.
Wishes never come true.
Happy endings never even begin.
This yearning so deep,
This ever-present desire,
This endless, near-agonizing ache-
Never will it be satisfied.
There is but one hope,
A hope that in death the chasm of longing
Will finally cease to exist,
Released by the release of mortality.
But again, hope is hop

Summary: A father searches for his lost child and finds something more.
Author's Notes: I want to dedicate this random little ficlet to three people. Firstly, Kat, for the inspiration to write this; secondly, Sarah (my favorite and my best!), for being my sounding board, beta, and best friend; and thirdly, my counselor Cathy, for doing what you do. You three are the best! Thank you so much! Love you all to pieces!

I FINALLY bought a scanner. *Awaits the cheering...* My bank account is currently overdrawn (or whatever you call it) because of it, too. But still. YAY SCANNER!
I don't actually draw much...or I didn't. I took art class many a year ago in 7th grade and that's all the "training" I've had. I randomly took it up again because my counselor (who ROCKS, by the way!) thought it might be a good outlet for my caged emotions. So far it's been interesting.
I'm currently lacking in inspiration, but hopefully it'll come soon. Wish me luck!
